Seems the eagle stopover in my area has about ended. It's always sad to see them leave. I took this image late in the day as the sun set.

I was not able to take many eagle images this season. Over 250 birds in the area but weather and life did not cooperate.

Very good image.  What noble animals.

This one is really a stunner! The copper coloration and the inclusion of the low sun add impact to an already powerful image.

 

As your eagle watching season ends, ours is just getting going. I'll have to try to get out again soon.
