sixteen pads Posted January 11, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shot this with my then newly acquired yet lovely beat up M6 classic. Expired Konica film and 50 cron. Walked into a tailor shop and snapped one of his creations. Something about this capture that works for me.

sixteen pads Posted January 12, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted January 12, 2017 thank you gentleman Getting something pleasant on digital is fun. Getting something pleasant on film just feels so much better IMO. Not sure whether it is the added extra time before you see it, or different technique or pure mystery of it all haha. I guess shooting digital just got so easy and predictable. You just kinda spray and pray. And then sort of work in post at making it look a bit like film again. Paradox. RayD28 Posted January 18, 2017 Share #6 Posted January 18, 2017 Wonderful. Have you thought about giving a copy to the tailor?
sixteen pads Posted January 18, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Wonderful. Have you thought about giving a copy to the tailor? Yes, we ended up chatting and hit it off warmly ! He is around 70 years old and has been in the business for the last 50 years. We will remain in contact maybe for some more visuals. Fascinating character to say the least. I am a cinematographer by day so thinking of shooting some moving images there as well maybe for a bigger than just a snap project again thanks for looking Edited January 18, 2017 by sixteen pads
