zeleny Posted January 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 9, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am failing to trip the shutter by pressing the shutter release button on my SL, used with an S-to-L converter. Autofocus works fine. Is there anything I should check or alter?
Advertisement Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Hi zeleny, Take a look here SL Shutter Release. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
steppenw0lf Posted January 9, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 9, 2017 I do not exactly understand what you mean - can you make your description clearer ? I would check if you see an error message when you try to press the shutter button. Consult the manual for the adapter about possible problems. Ingo Posted January 9, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 9, 2017 Maybe you are in video-mode?
zeleny Posted January 10, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted January 10, 2017 No error message, no video mode. The camera randomly fails to trip the shutter after autofocusing.
Bill W Posted January 10, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 10, 2017 If it is truly not tripping the shutter after auto focus is locked, then send it back or contact your dealrer.

Is Leica’s warranty good internationally? I bought this camera in South Korea.
Bill W Posted January 10, 2017 Share #7 Posted January 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes, it is as far as I know as long as you can show when you purchased it. Did you register it with Leica?
