jmahto Posted January 7, 2017 Share #21 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Now that reminds me of this one. M8. disapperaing.jpg Very nice... After some time I realized that even if the content is similar, it is quite different. In yours, plane is moving towards threatening clouds (adventure) and in mine, it is flying in the safe zone (relief). Similar but so different! gberger Posted January 8, 2017 Share #22 Posted January 8, 2017 jaapv, Beautiful shot. Years ago, as a B-47 pilot, I experienced several like that, trying to fly over towering cumulus along the Inter Tropical Convergence (ITC). Flying among those clouds, you feel very, very humble. Thank You.
albert Posted January 9, 2017 Share #23 Posted January 9, 2017 I saw one or two that were enjoyable. Sorry to rain on your M-Parade but the opening shot is not that hot. Washed out and zero eye magnet.
albert Posted January 9, 2017 Share #24 Posted January 9, 2017 Maybe it's because my eldest sun seeded clouds in the heart of Kansas super cells to suppress hail while he was a young buck. The photographs were horrifying.

It took me a while to find that seagull, however. Here's another to ponder. Welcome, dear visitor! pgk Posted January 18, 2017 Share #34 Posted January 18, 2017 Last year I went for a walk along the coast from Criccieth, here in North Wales, one beautiful day. Just the sea a gentle breeze and the constant drone of aeroplanes using a headland as a turning point. There were a lot coming over every minute or so and repeatedly. No idea what they were up to but one was a seaplane as you can see which is an unusual sight here. Anyway, I had the 75mm Summilux on the M9 for some reason and it does seem to operate well in bright light. Welcome, dear visitor! chris_tribble Posted January 30, 2017 Author Share #36 Posted January 30, 2017 Dee - a lovely image... Some further offerings. All from North Norfolk - the skies are lovely there. These were from my brief time with the SL (all M lenses). I look forward to going back with the M10... Welcome, dear visitor!
