Nice picture. And I thought the Plaza faced the south side of Central Park.

I would like to manage to prevent people from ever seeing how a picture of mine has been done. What can it possibly matter? What I want is that the only thing emanating from my pictures should be emotion. - Pablo Picasso

Thanks, Michael and Stuart................the one I posted was built in 1856, the Manhattan Plaza in 1907, so NYC, as usual, was only copying what they saw happening out West.

Another historic building that's also a part of the Mission San Juan Bautista complex.

SL / 24-90 Vario-Elmarit - I'm becoming more and more comfortable & confident using this camera and lens combination for landscape work. I especially like all the readily available and easily accessible viewfinder features which greatly enhance & facilitate composing and focusing, resulting in a high degree of predictability and enabling me to consistently end up close to the  'pre-visualized'mental image I have of a particular scene............even more so than with the M240-P.
