Should the foreground wave that's out of focus stay in the image? I increased red saturation and reduced highlights, which moved the reflection on the water from white to orange; change? The unfocused foreground doesn't bother me at all since it is in the dark and creates more "mood". I also think the saturation is fine for this kind of composition. The eye goes straight to the horizon, not the foreground, so when you do notice the oncoming wave it's almost like it's too late - you're about to be submerged! You should print this and hang it.
