erlingmm Posted November 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I know there has been a lot of discussions on the lack of tils shift lenses for the S. Are you aware of this combo from Novoflex? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1213191-REG/novoflex_bpts_90_les_balpro_tilt_shift_bellows_set.html Seems to come with a Schneider Kreuznach 90 mm f/4,
Advertisement Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Hi erlingmm, Take a look here T/S for Leica S: Novoflex adapter with lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
John McMaster Posted November 27, 2016 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2016 It is the lack of wide-angle T/S lenses, there is the re-badged Schneider 120mm as well.... john
jip Posted December 6, 2016 Share #3 Posted December 6, 2016 I use this combination, but it has little to no tilt/shift when focused at infinity, and it's a 90mm while we wish for a wide angle lens. Of course one could mount a wider Schneider large format lens
LorenzoLandini Posted December 6, 2016 Share #4 Posted December 6, 2016 It appears to be quite a lot of money and a cumbersome set up for not even having a convenient vertical shift, which is the most used lens movement needed in architecture photography. It's really a pity that a wide angle t/s lens is not offered by Leica.
Jeff S Posted December 6, 2016 Share #5 Posted December 6, 2016 It's really a pity that a wide angle t/s lens is not offered by Leica. There was a mock-up of a 30mm T/S lens for the 2009 S2 launch, and reference to it here from David Farkas. I wonder if the change was lens-specific (market or technical) or more broad-based (S system demand, AF issues with other lenses, etc). Leica will probably never tell. xiaubauu2009 Posted December 14, 2016 Share #6 Posted December 14, 2016 Ultra wide Lens shiftable on Medium format, I can only think of Canon TSE or Nikon PC-E... or any 135 shift lens. Hahahah I think Leica should just do a canon/nikon mount.
