Tether Issues 006 with Lightroom

I have my S (006) tethered to my Mac Pro running the latest version of Lightroom with the latest version of the Leica tether plugin and the tethering is working well, with one slight problem....

The images come through nice and quickly and that seems to work well but the the develop settings do not seem to be posted to the images.

The saved preset seems to register in the quick develop window, but doesn't actually apply the settings to the image. No matter what I seem to do, the image always seems to appear as shot until I manually apply adjustments.

What I would like to do is create a look for a shoot and then that look would be applied to all the images as they arrive in Lightroom as I would with Phase One and C1.

Am I missing something?

Is this a known issue?

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Thanks

The way I've been using LR tethered these last few years with the S is to make the RAW settings I like on the first exposure, then manually Sync those settings on subsequent exposures. It's relatively quick using a group key command selection on a series of exposures, but not by any means ideal, or what you're looking for.

Sorry, I can't help there. I don't use the pre-sets since as an architecture guy, I move from location to location during a shoot, with ever-changing lighting conditions. Just not practical for me. When first working with LR5 (I'm a Phocus transplant), I couldn't find a satisfactory way to be more efficient than the process I've currently settled on. It's idiosyncratic to my particular type of work, I suppose, but works for what I shoot.

Wish I could be of more help with the root of your question.

Try this test:

Start an auto import session instead of a tether. You can just do this by setting up a folder and dragging a bunch of DNG into the watched folder rather than tether your camera. Apply the preset in the setting up dialog and see if the problem persists.

That will at least help diagnose the issue.
