FlashGordonPhotography Posted November 21, 2016 Share #3 Posted November 21, 2016 All lens firmware updates are delivered via the camera body. The S2 and S2P don't get the latest lens firmware files. You'll need a 006 or 007 to do that. However the lenses should still work with older firmware. You should take your camera/lens to a dealer and have it looked at. Hopefully the AF motors are still OK. Gordon

Jeff Thank you for the link. I haven't used the camera in 2 years, it worked great and has less than 2000 clicks. I will be very dissappointed at how expensive these lenses are they would crash and burn like this. I'll keep you posted.
jcrutcher Posted November 21, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted November 21, 2016 Thank you Gordon, I will. My Hassy lenses work fine. I have not tried my 120 yet but I will.
jip Posted November 23, 2016 Share #6 Posted November 23, 2016 Hold the back button while starting the camera, this will update the lenses to the latest firmware, the lens firmware is embedded in the camera firmware.
John McMaster Posted November 23, 2016 Share #7 Posted November 23, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) the lens firmware is embedded in the camera firmware. Not on the S2/S2-P john
