Pecole Posted October 5, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) When swimming in my pool at noon, I came across a drowning animal. I threw it on the terrasse, and investigated when going out. It was a "praying mantis", now dried and nicely green, that immediately stepped on my hand (fortunately, the left one). I had then even time to catch my Leica, and was happy enough to take a close-ups before releasing the animal to where it belong. Welcome, dear visitor! They just eat their male partners, but since I am not a mantis and only an occasional prayer...
