PaulJohn Posted October 1, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just bought a used Q and overall am wowed by the cameras performance and quality. All was good until i tried focussing indoors. The AF works from f2.8 and smaller but it wont focus wide open. The evf also starts to lag. Is this normal? I suspect i have a dud. I have been taking pics in totally dark rooms (I mean, to the extent I didn't see what I was imaging), and still the AF perfectly works. Wouldn't you have disallowed the AF lighting? I will try again with it enabled. Do you sometimes get evf lag? So, I enabled the AF assist lamp and the problem was still present. I then tried a settings reset from the menu and voila it is fixed. I have put the settings back the way I had them and the problem has gone away. I will be watching this one carefully and hopefully no more gremlins.
