I'm trying to connect my Leica Q to my Sony Xperia Z5 compact E5823 phone with the Leica Q WiFi App, I have successfully managed to link an IPhone 6 and several different Android (6.0.1) phones but despite using the same parameters I've not been able to connect the Sony phone. Has anybody been able to connect a a Sony Xperia to the Leica Q or got any suggestions - I'm using the following

Sony Xperia Z5 compact E5823

OS Android version 6.0.1

Leica Q App

Leica Q

Firmware version 2.0

I'm using the Q's own network set up, attached image shows the setup point I can reach, with an Iphone or other Android phones I reach the next screen and complete the connection

Yes tried that - manually set up with password and as an open network without password. I've followed procedures that Leica suggested after contacting them and these all worked successfully with other phones but not the Sony - have contacted Sony but still awaiting a suggested procedure, so far its the usual disclaimer of not testing all Apps - I'm just hoping another Leica Q owner has tried connecting the same phone

Thanks for the re-assurance, I'll keep trying different set-ups - the one oddity that stands out is that the phone see's the Leica Q WiFi and connects but does not progress beyond that state ie not progressing to the next screen that gives remote control. The Phone shows the Leica Q as connected but with no internet connection - is this the same as your phone
