Novoflex flexing it's muscles

For years I have a selection of old M42 screw mount lenses lying about.  Belonging to my deceaced father who both had several Practicas and a Edixa C.  Cameras I regularly borrowed from him through the years.  I got this brilliant idea of buying a Novoflex M42/Leica M converter.  And voila'; I had a new (well) range of lenses to my disposal.

Like this 50 years old gem; a Rodenstock Heligon 50 mm 1,9.  - The only lens I have 'without' internal dust.

I've been using m42 lenses on my Leica ever since I git the M240- there is an entire universe of m42 glass out there to be explored- and much of it costs a pittance. You could easily get a entire range of focal lengths for the cost of a single leica lens hood... I dare say for the price of a noctilux 1.2 hood you could get more than 50 M42 lenses!

sorry about the delay in replying- not really- I have so many good m42 lenses- perhaps my Pentax Takumar lenses are up there. I also have a lot of Nikon mount lenses and my Vivitar Macro 55mm lens is an absolute favorite- very useful lens for me- and several other Nikon lenses are also in the list:
