MEB Posted August 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I went back to the wonderful, almost secret garden at the nearby university. The story is interesting...this garden is behind the medical radiology clinic on the campus. The chief of the department was an avid horticulturist who believed a walk in a peaceful garden would relieve stress of the cancer patients who come there for treatment. He developed this garden out of his own pocket (it also features the coy pond that I previously showed). The doctor has since passed away but the garden is so loved that the university took over maintenance of it by the agriculture students. I would have enjoyed it more today if the mosquitoes had not heard a lunch bell when I entered. This flower is enormous! It must be at least 15 inches in diameter. Thanks, Mark Welcome, dear visitor! Iduna Posted August 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 28, 2016 What a good story! Excellent shot. I like this velvetian texture of the petals!

MEB Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted August 30, 2016 Iduna and Stuart, Thank you. Yes it is a good story. It shows that there is still beauty, both spiritual and physical in our world. I'm still on a learning curve with my SL kit but I'm finding it a lot of fun. I am also getting much stronger from carrying around the new system that is much, much heavier than my old M system.
