Andy,  That 24mm is 8still* earning its keep, I see! This is marvellous. When I saw the title and saw it was from you I was almost able to visualise what the picture might look like (I mean that in a good way) -- and I wasn't that far wrong. I thought, Ah, it will be a sandcastle of some sort in the extreme foreground with the rest in marvellous perspective...probably a big sky too...

 

Again, a superb use of a superb lens that you have really made your own. Much enjoyed.

Alun - I really cannot speak highly enough about that lens. It's a shame that the viewfinder isn't wide enough to include a frame for it but "full viewfinder plus a bit" generally works out fine. Alternatively, of course, there is Live View, which I do use regularly with that lens in particular. My MP was a 0.58 version, which worked extremely well with this lens.

 

I think it's one of those lenses that every M user ought to have, especially since, in the scheme of things, they are relatively cheap to buy.
