Utterly stunning!

Thanks! I had to leave the hotel at 5.00 am to arrive at the beach for the sunrise. I thought it was just going to be a static landscpe shoot, but the guide who is a photoigrapher himself, arranged this fisherman to be present.

That really is quite spectacular -- what might otherwise have been 'just' another beautiful landscape shot has been raised to another level by the human interest and perfect timing. Well done.

Thanks Alun! Actually, I was expecting just another sunrise by the beach type of landscape. The guide who made the arrangement for this shoot gave me the itinerary without telling me he has arranged for a fisherman to be present. As I was shooting in continuous mode, I have a series of shots from the moment he threw the net up in the air  to the point the whole net touched the water. I like this particular image as the bottom of the net just hoi the water creating some turbulence and splashes.

That is one absolutely gorgeous picture.

IMO, the opportunity to capture such a picture is a one-in-a-lifetime occurrence.

Thanks George! I hope it is not a one-in-a-lifetime occurrence! I still have many places to visit in my bucket list. Next year, my wife and I will be going back to Bali for another vacation. Of course, I will sneak out early in the morning for another sunrise shoot!

oh, my dream, what a goegeous sight!

Now I know that we have to visit our friends in Bali....thanks for this inspirational picture!

Thank you!

Bali is a great place, but at times can be too crowded with tourists during the peak season. There are many places to visit and to photograph. I intend to visit Bali during the celebration at one of the largest temples.

There just are not words that can describe how beautiful this is.

Thanks Bill! Although, I have several images from my trips to Ethiopia, Borobudur-Indonesia, Malaysia that are very good, so far this is one of the best.
