Please forgive me for being so bold as to put this forward, it's merely my own humble suggestion, I think the image is worth the effort. thighslapper Posted August 23, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) They are actually clouds ...... the planes round us (from Birmingham Airport) are rarely high enough to cause contrails. We have had several days of these strange mixture of clouds ...... cumulus mixed with higher wispy stuff and cirrus above that. Part of the pleasures of contrary (ie. usually crap) UK weather ..... . Actually we've had a very sunny and hot dry end of July/August so far which makes up for the almost biblical constant deluge over the winter....
