Advertisement Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Hi fishdrummer, Take a look here latest SD card for Monochrome first version 18MP. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Chuck Albertson Posted August 18, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 18, 2016 What did you strike out with? I use a mix of Panasonic (getting hard to find in the US) and SanDisk Extreme/Extreme Pro cards, mostly 8GB and 16GB size. I like to swap them out frequently so I don't lose all my photos if a card fails.
jaapv Posted August 18, 2016 Share #3 Posted August 18, 2016 Personally I prefer Panasonic Gold 16 GB. My camera (and my M9) runs pretty fast on those. Make sure that you buy from a trusted supplier (especially for Sandisk cards)
Hardster Posted August 19, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) There were issues with banding and speed when using the larger cards ala 32GB. Some brands better than others. There is a thread on this. The general concensus being that 16GB and lower works the best. I've had no problems with the 16GB SanDisk Extreme Pro with my MMv1. I use the same card until/if it falters rather using a spread of cards but always have two backups in my bag. I've also found its best to insert the card directly into your computer when uploading rather than using a separate card reader. I format the card in the camera.YMMV. +1 on using a reputable supplier as there are fakes out there.
