Rollei ATP 1.1

Do any of you have experience with Rollei ATP 1.1? I'm getting some in (120), based on my old love of Kodak Tech Pan. The results I've seen appear similar to TP, and I see that it can be effectively developed in Rodinal at 1:300.

 

I'm interested to hear any tales, good, bad, or ugly.

Only few experience. I think I would prefer it about the CMS 20. It is more similar to the old Kodak TP. The red sensitivity is increased. Processing seemed to be more tolerant then with the CMS. If you like to have a good grayscale I'm afraid you will need a special low contrast developer. A friend told me that he get good results with Rollei Low Contrast, that should be much cheaper then the special developer for this film.
Unfortunately the 35 mm film ins't available here for quite a while any more. I only found 120 roll-film.

Thanks. I've also ordered some 35mm and 120 CMS, but it is the ATP I'm most looking forward to playing with. Some of the shots I've seen developed in Rodinal have looked interesting.

Only tried it with TP liquid developer. Works well but I now give extra time processing as it only gets scanned.

Thanks, Pierre. The examples I've seen look wonderful when it all comes together, but I think I'll have to do some experimenting to find what works for me.

It is a variant of the Agfa Copex micro film with extended Red sensitivity. The Adox CMS20 is an Ortho variant of this Agfa Gevaert micro film. Suitable developers are for both coming from SPUR. 

You can also develop the film in Udo Raffay Film Low Gamma = Rollei Low Contrast (RLC) developer 1+4 till 1+6. A high dilluted R09/Rodinal 1+200 or more is a worse alternative.
