Update from the restaurant folks

 

They have advised that they offer a supplementary drinks deal - water, soft drinks, wine and beer, unlimited until the desert is served. The cost is €8 p.p., which seems like extremely good value to me. I have therefore taken the executive decision to say "Yes" to that. 

 

They have also asked for the numbers of people who want the fish or the beef - that's well into the "too hard box" given that some of us have already left to start the journey to Lisbon. Will deal with that on Saturday - maybe we can advise at lunchtime.

 

I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

I've just arrived here and planning to meet up with John Gorton and Ferdinand a bit later if you're interested? I'm about halfway between the Astoria and Rossio where all restaurants and bars apparently in the direction of the sea front and John and Ferdl were a bit further towards the sea when I contacted them an hour or so ago.

 

Is your mobile the same ending 0880? If not could you PM me please? ( I've also got an Aussi number for you ending in 285.)
