Want to gange the red dot on my M6 TTL

Hi,

I want to replace the red dot on my M6 TTL, and I bought a black one from DAG.

The problem is that I can't get the red logo off. DAG writes: Remove paper backing to expose adhesive on back side. To remove red Leica Logo, hold onto the word LEICA with your fingernails, twist left & right until the Logo comes off. Takes about 30 seconds of twisting to remove. This does not work for me. I hold for a long time, but it does not come off. Is there with anything else I can warm it up?.

You could try a hair dryer on low setting to warm it up.

You can also push on the red dot with Blu Tack and twist as you do so...

I pushed to rotate clockwise then anticlockwise then clockwise etc using two matchsticks. I like the hairdryer idea.
