Is it possible to use WiFi to download to a Macintosh?

The cellphone download works just great, but I would like to be able to download to my computer instead of the phone.

 

I'm doing video with the camera on a tripod and it's a major hassle to take the card out all the time.  But of course I edit and review videos on my computer.

 

Thoughts?

 

(I know this question was asked and answered a couple of years ago and I'm curious to know if the situation has changed at all.)

I don't think that's possible as there's no desktop app. You can, however, connect your Q to your Mac via USB for file transfer. -alex

Great!  Does the Q file system appear on the Finder?  Direct import into LR?

What about an iphone simmulator? have you tried it?

The content of the SD card would appear as an external drive; you can copy or import files as usual. By the way the Q must be powered on for this. -alex
