@GLOBETROTTER

Just "read" the picture in #2. It shows a woman who (mis)uses Christos' piece of art for presenting herself. But the views from the by passers dont show the admiration she hopes to get. That's the "story" of the picture and for that it does not nee the last tip of her haires. I regret more that the pearl in her left hand is cut in half althoug it does not diminish the visual story too much.

I will attach you a second picture of the same "mermaid" woman. It is grafically perfect in my eyes, shows as well the use of Christo's installation but needs more knowledge of the circumstances. Who will recognize the fabrics as belonging to the Floating Piers?

By the way: consider that you always had been in that place together with several thousand visitors too. You had to be fast, very fast. Fast in seeing situations and fast in framing, fast in photographing.

???

Dogs with muzzle were allowed  -  but what has this to do with the pictures?

Never mind - didn't notice any dogs on your pictures, so I presumed a general ban.
