Vieri Posted July 29, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 29, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Scotland's Isle of Arran's magic landscapes of sea and rock s are amazing, and long time favourite of mine. Last spring, I worked on Arran's Fossil Sands for a series of images called "Fossil Landscapes" - this is the 9th image in the series: With the Leica SL and the Voigtlander 12mm ASPH (I version). Enjoy! Best, Vieri
Advertisement Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Hi Vieri, Take a look here Fossil Landscapes, IX. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MarkP Posted July 29, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2016 Very nice Vieri. Impressive use of UWA lens. You nicely captured the movement of the clouds and sea to the right but the water in the rock pools was very still!
Hardster Posted July 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 29, 2016 +1 I'm drawn all the way from the foreground to the horizon and beyond! A wonderful image of a beautiful and remote part of Scotland.

Vieri Posted August 2, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted August 2, 2016 Very nice Vieri. Impressive use of UWA lens. You nicely captured the movement of the clouds and sea to the right but the water in the rock pools was very still! Mark, thank you very much for your comment, much appreciated. I was very happy to have the Ultra-WA possibility this time over, and tried and make the best out of it The water in the pools actually looks still, but wasn't; is the result of the long exposure that "froze" it +1 I'm drawn all the way from the foreground to the horizon and beyond! A wonderful image of a beautiful and remote part of Scotland. Thank you very much Hardster, I love Ultra-WA exactly for that reason, you can make images with an incredible depth Scotland is really beautiful, and Arran is one of my favourite places in Scotland. Can't wait to be there again next year! Mighty picture. Thank you very much Michael, I am glad you enjoyed it! Beautiful. Many thanks Stuart, glad you liked it!
