Popular Post Longboarder9 Posted July 28, 2016 Popular Post Share #1 Posted July 28, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) 800 superia, 50mm Summicron, MP After a night of very unrewarding street shooting, (ie; could not see an image to save my life....why didn't I stay home...I could have been playing with my son), I started home to the station, thoroughly defeated. Then the rain showed up. Noah's ark style, angry rain, which flooded the feeble 20th century infrastructure. I returned home, not knowing if anything came out, but drenched and happy. Once again reminding me that photography can be like surfing. If you're frustrated at the ocean, (or in this case the street), when the waves don't come, you might just miss an opportunity. Steve Ricoh Posted July 28, 2016 Share #11 Posted July 28, 2016 As XVarior said, one of the best rain shots for me too! Excellent photography, one to be ultra pleased with ! Interesting, is the MP rain proof, or did you have protection?
Longboarder9 Posted July 28, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted July 28, 2016 Thanks very much for comment Steve. - not any more weather sealed than other M's and I'd rather take out the m3 in the rain...given the lack of batteries/electronics. I always carry a water proof bag ( like a small camping stff sack but waterproof) with a hole cut out for the lens. Stays in place with a rubber band rubber band. No problems so far.
