Dear members of the Leica Forum

Unfortunately, my Leica Summicron M 2.0 28mm ASPH Nr 4109403 was stolen today 27 July 2016 in Zug (Switzerland). It was attached to a Leica M 240 silver Nr 4701593 that was also stolen. The M240 was equipped with a black Artist and Astisan Leather shelf and the original Leica electronic view finder.

Please report to the police when this lens or camera is offered or you see this lens or camera. Contact for police in Zug (Switzerland) is Phone +41 41 728 4141; Email: info.polizei@zg.ch, and please send a personal message to me.

Thank you.

Hi,

sad news indeed. I was robbed in Rome some years ago too. It was the same lens: the Leica M 2/28mm ASPH and a Leica M7 a la carte with the Leicavit attached. I have not gottn it back

ever since.

Best Regards from Germany and good luck,

Dear forum members

Good news! The M240 and the lens is back in my hands. I am so happy!

Security has controlled a suspect with a silver Leica and this was my camera. I could pick up the Camera at the local police station this morning. Thank you to security and the police of Zug.

Kind regards

Swiss Leica Fan

PS: And thank you for your kind comments which I will take to heart.

Swiss Leica Fan, that's great news!  It's so rare that stolen cameras and lenses are returned to their owners, especially so quickly.  Well done to Security and thanks for letting us know your good news.

Pete.
