It was attached to a Leica M 240 silver Nr 4701593 that was also stolen. The M240 was equipped with a black Artist and Astisan Leather shelf and the original Leica electronic view finder. Please report to the police when this lens or camera is offered or you see this lens or camera. It was the same lens: the Leica M 2/28mm ASPH and a Leica M7 a la carte with the Leicavit attached. I have not gottn it back ever since. Thank you for your post. Sad story also on your side indeed. I was in Rome and in Naples in the past six weeks with no problemsd. I got robbed in my home town at the place I visist regularly. Security has controlled a suspect with a silver Leica and this was my camera. I could pick up the Camera at the local police station this morning. Thank you to security and the police of Zug.
