Advertisement Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Hi ldhrads, Take a look here Flexing like Rocky. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted July 25, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 25, 2016 Very nice. People at the Rocky statue is the most popular photo in Philadelphia. I hope while you're there you'll hunt up as many of their 4,000 street art murals as you can, and if you like important cars, visit the Simeone Museum. for that matter, visit the College of Physicians & Surgeons for the Mutter Museum, but look it up before you go to make sure you will enjoy it.
ldhrads Posted July 26, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted July 26, 2016 I grew up outside Philadelphia and lived in the city for several years while in school, quite close to the museum in a not so great area! I've never been to the Simeone, but the College of Physicians and Surgeons is well known to me. I played concertmaster for the Philadelphia Doctors Orchestra many years ago and we would perform there. A trip to Philadelphia should include the Mutter, I've been and have taken the wife and kids, but not this trip!
