stuny Posted July 20, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2016 Lovely. It's a shame how much the lake has "receeded."
peterbengtson Posted July 21, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 21, 2016 there is serious talk of dewatering Lake Powell entirely. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/22/opinion/unplugging-the-colorado-river.html?_r=0
sblitz Posted July 21, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted July 21, 2016 Lovely. It's a shame how much the lake has "receeded." there is serious talk of dewatering Lake Powell entirely. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/22/opinion/unplugging-the-colorado-river.html?_r=0 Being at that corner of Lake was quite surreal. It was around 100 degrees and the area around the lake was devoid of life and then there is deep blue water. I imagine this is what it would be like to swim in a man made lake on the moon.
