Never have been successful getting one of these to land long enough for a good photo.

I think this is a Ruby-Throated Female. Anyone know for sure?

Nice image War.

Like Stuart, I'm not sure of the species. It looks like the same as the image I posted recently.

I'm thinking juvenile hummingbirds may not have the distinguishing colors of the adults and leave us wondering what we are seeing.

Nice you were able to show the bird in such a natural setting.

That Hummingbird that you posted Bill is a puzzle. I've been looking at books and can't find any that look like that and travel that far north. And none have white edges on the wings. Trouble with the books is that they never show juveniles. It seems birders don't follow this thread to help us out.
