I'm thinking juvenile hummingbirds may not have the distinguishing colors of the adults and leave us wondering what we are seeing. Nice you were able to show the bird in such a natural setting. I've been looking at books and can't find any that look like that and travel that far north. And none have white edges on the wings. Trouble with the books is that they never show juveniles.
