Neko Posted September 16, 2016 Share #15 Posted September 16, 2016 Nice job Jesús! This a world that in a few years will be gone forever from our beloved land. There are many small vilages in northem Castilla where the only remaning inhabitants are a bunch of elderly people. The only witnesses of an already forgotten way of live and culture. Your job is important now and will be event more relevant when this way of live will be just a memory. BTW The portrait is Terrific. I can almost feel the cold wind of the highlands.

Robert M Poole Posted September 17, 2016 Share #17 Posted September 17, 2016 This shot was made in SORIA a very cold and isolated area of Spain. Very windy and cold. This man is one of the last I cycled through Castile and Leon from Zaragoza to Pamplona about 9 years ago and was amazed about how desolate it was there. I think the area was called Sierra de Luna and I remember thinking "mountains of the moon" was about right.
