Porto Factory Tour - 13/10/16

Once again, massive thanks to John (satijntje) for this! My top-secret agent has been revealed

 

He has managed to get 12 places for a visit the Leica Porto factory on the Thursday 13th October. The visit will be at around 2/3pm (to be confirmed) and if there are sufficient numbers (up to 12, of course), there may even be a minibus to take people from the city (Porto) to the factory. However, I understand that taxis are very reasonable in Portugal and it's a 35 km ride.

 

Unfortunately, I can't make that trip as we will be only arriving in Lisbon that morning and getting to Porto would be a stretch, which is a shame, but I do know that several Forum friends are staying in Porto before heading south for the weekend.

 

So, as usual, please add your name to this list if you would like to be included on the factory tour.

Just an update on timing, folks.

 

The factory closes at 16:00, so the tour has to start at 14:00 at the latest.

As a consequence, the participants need to be at the meeting point in Porto at 13:00 and no later.

 

The location of the meeting point will be advised separately, later.

I should land at 07:45 on the 13th which should qualify me to be on time for the tour if there is still room for one.

BTW, leaving on the 16th at 14:40

I have checked current flights and don't believe we can make the tour on time. Looked at changing flights but not practical.

Please cross off my two reservations and free them up for someone who can make the timeline.
