TheGodParticle/Hari Posted July 1, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted July 1, 2016 Leica SL + Summarit-M 75mm f/2.4ISO 400 @ f/4 @ 1/160 click image above for a full rez rendering It's a very nice performer! Do you have the APO75 by any chance? Would be interesting to see the real world difference in image quality between the 75/2APO and the 75/2.
tobey bilek Posted July 2, 2016 Share #6 Posted July 2, 2016 Where you will see the difference is at larger stops, the edges will not be as sharp. There is a clarity/brilliance missing in the summarits which the Summicron has. Not a big difference, but there. I would not judge by these images. Hunt around for more Summarit images. Overgard had a Summarit for a while and found them lacking.

Peoplewing Posted July 13, 2016 Share #8 Posted July 13, 2016 I sold the Summarit 90 because I was not really happy with it's IQ on my M246. The Summarit 75 is a wonderful, tiny, not too expensive (as "2.5" new for about 800.- Euro) and extremly sharp lens, and now beside the Zeiss ZM 35/1.4 my absolute favorit!! Sorry, no experience with Summarit 35&50.
otho Posted July 13, 2016 Share #9 Posted July 13, 2016 I also sold few months ago Summarit 90 f/2.5 and trade it for AA 90, which is perfect for my needs.
S/W Posted July 13, 2016 Share #10 Posted July 13, 2016 The Summarit 2.4/75 is one of may favorite: Leica M (240) * Summarit 2.4/75 Leica M9-P * Summarit 2.4/75
