Guest Benqui Posted June 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 29, 2016 This is what I call the perfect Moment Adam! I know it is a matter of taste and of course the masters of street photography never crop ( ), but maybe a crop without the person on the right side only with her shadow could make it a bit more mystique; like someone who is looking at the couple from the distance best regards Marc
roelandinho Posted June 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2016 This is absolutely fantastic :-) The expression, her hand on his head, the embrace made stronger by the figures on the sides (which are both on their own and less happy looking)... I love it. Then there's the beautiful and timeless quality of the colours and tonality of the film, something that is not really possible in digital it seems.
roelandinho Posted June 29, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 29, 2016 I know it is a matter of taste and of course the masters of street photography never crop ( ), but maybe a crop without the person on the right side only with her shadow could make it a bit more mystique; like someone who is looking at the couple from the distance I disagree, I think both women on the sides are important not only visually balancing each other out, but they also add to the story. They make the embrace stand out more.

Marc - interesting POV - i never though about that. It is a good idea and think it could be successful. I tried doing it and think that i like having the broader context in the scene. I am absolutely not opposed to cropping, dont get me wrong, though.
