I keep coming back for another look Because they manage to successfully break pretty much every formal rule? Because they have impact and convey the atmosphere in a very cinematic way? alun Posted July 8, 2016 Share #11 Posted July 8, 2016 I really enjoyed seeing these -- it's an interesting experiment to catch something almost entirely through movement, blur and abstraction. I particularly like the tattooed back (posted 13.21), the shirtless young smoker (o6.00) and I especially like the passing streetscape (10.40), which looks like an ECM sleeve. I think such an approach is by definition hit and miss -- you just go with the flow and see how it works -- but that is part of its charm and its challenge. I'm glad you like them. thank you. it's not to everybody's taste. the subject however, is an ongoing challenge for me & very hit & miss (as you can see) but nonetheless enjoyable. the area is one i've decided to acquaint myself with more, since i pass through there often.
