Great photo - capturing a very 'Bressonian' moment, but I respectfully submit it would have been a more effective and striking image if it were not noticably tilted to the right.

Fair comment, John, and before posting I corrected it but preferred it tilted because, to my eye, tilted conveyed a stronger sense of being taken quickly in the moment, as it was.  I suspected that I would receive some comments about the tilt and posted it tilted regardless so I respect those comments.

I think the tilt helps to emphasize how the thunderstorm winds & rain are driving in from the right, causing the umbrella, the focal point in the image, to be angled into the weather.  The viewer almost automatically leans that same way to view the image.  So it is effective in ways a vertically aligned image might not.
