Second Cracked M9 Sensor

Once again the sensor on my M9 is cracked.  Anyone know Leica's sensor replacement policy on a second cracked sensor (same M9)?  They replaced the sensor previously three years ago.

I would think you would now be in-line for the new M9 sensor/filter stack.

 

Send it in as soon as possible and be ready for a 3-4 month wait. Sent mine in late January and got it back the second week of May. I don't think they are keeping large supplies of the new sensor in-stock, but getting them in, in batches as needed.

It is totally not economical to produce a few at a time.  They are in stock somewhere.  Leica has terrible service, always has.   Problem with digital is there is no other place to go.

 

Can you imagine a car dealer keeping a car more more than a few days.
