Stratford, Ontario.  The birds there are all very accustomed to people getting close (even though they are all totally wild...except for the resident swans) but they are very concerned if anyone walks by with a dog; even if the dog is 1/2 their size!

Thanks.  Yes the adults are always close by.  If they don't like what you are doing they will hiss at you.  Then they will herd the babies into the river.  The swans, on the other hand, will actually attack you if they feel that you are threatening their goslings!
