They have an important role in mythologies around the world, and in Vietnam Many legends  connect closely to the turtle.  This mural painted most likely by a Viennese suggest his interpretation. I found the mural on the side of a local grocery store in east Los Angles

Thanks Adam, I wasn't sure what I had taken until I got home and was able to see on the screen. Did a little research on turtles and mythology and this is what I was able to come up with. Really not sure if this is what the artist was trying to suggest but the turtle  in most cultures and are often implicated in creation myths regarding the origin of the Earth
