Close relatives - Waterman Edson ball and fountain pens

Love the macro mode and manual focusing. It works so well.

Poly-dactyl Paw - we've been adopted by a stray cat with unusual paws that have an additional 'toe', which almost looks like a thumb.

Anyone else tried photographing snowflakes? A fun challenge for sure. The macro capability is great. 28mm is very sub-optimal, but it still works.

thanks for posting, I did not imagine that to be possible with Q. What is the surface underneath the flake? a garment?

I used a black microfiber cloth. Try it. It's fun and I suspect the character of snowflakes is different depending on humidity, temperature, elevation. Please post when you do.

Anyone else like photographing bugs and spiders? In the past, I would have made them deceased quickly. Now, I think they're beautiful and I love photographing them. They're still quite small in my image. The 28mm macro is not very optimized for this kind of photography, but it's still fun. Not sure if they'll survive long term around my house though. :-)
