omega1848 Posted May 3, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi folks, sorry to ask, but the Leica website is not clear enough about it and i do not have a M262. I am wondering if the multifunction handgrip can be used with the M262 (the normal one, with display, essentially the M9/ ME succesor)? And if yes will i then be able to do tethered shooting? Because that is what i am looking for, a solution for tethered shooting with the M262 (potential buy if that could work). Thanks a lot in advance! Advertisement Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hi omega1848, Take a look here Does the multifunction handgrip work with M262?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marchyman Posted May 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2016 No, the Mutli-function handgrip does not work with the 262. If you go to the "technical equipment" section of the leica web pages for the M you will see that the grip is not mentioned when the M 262 is the selected camera. omega1848 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted May 7, 2016 Sorry to ask, but is there a way for remotely trigger the capturing of an image via USB and Software on the M262, or is it only possible via traditional wire cable release?
marchyman Posted May 8, 2016 Share #4 Posted May 8, 2016 No USB on the M262. AFAIK the only way to trigger the shutter is to press the button or use a wire cable release.
