250swb Posted April 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 29, 2016 It would be good to see a comparison made with a film scanner, considering it is delta 100 there doesn't seem to be much of the expected sharpness or richness of tone. Would it have been better to have taken the picture with the Monochrom in the first place? I suppose if you didn't have it with you then no. gwpics Posted April 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2016 Nice shot, but I think I would have tried to calm down or clone out the bright lights top left, and maybe lift the face a little exposure-wise. Gerry
jpattison Posted April 29, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) The "bright lights" are reflections off the beer taps, the pub was dark, skin tones fall on zone 6. Fred Picker would be very pleased with it! Steve, I like to use my M4, Delta my usual film, The MM was at home. I've been using it to "scan" my negs for a while, perhaps my focusing on the BEOON copying device isn't spot on. (CCD - no live view). All part of the fun! Eventually I'll print the neg on my V35.
