Leica M-A, Summilux 50 mm f/1.4 Asph., HP5+ film.

 

I wasn't sure how this photo would turn out because of the low light in the church, so I just opened up the lens all the way, set the shutter to 1/60 s and took it.

Thank you. I was mistaken in my post. It was Tri-X 400 film, not HP5+. But I agree with you about film tonality. It can pick up very subtle variations in tone.

lovely quiet, well-lit moment. your exposure was pretty spot on here..

Thanks. It was at the cathedral in Savannah, GA. My wife and I were visiting and walking around when I saw the lady praying in front of the candles, and wanted to capture this quiet moment.
