Leica CF flash... With M6 'classic'

Recommended Posts

I have a couple. They work fine. It is nice that they stand a couple of inches tall, and the use of AA batteries is a plus.

That said, I almost never use a flash and when I do, I prefer a little Rollei 121 BC unit. Small, black, has a red dot, cheap. Balances better on an M.

There is an Auto 1 and 2 for different film speed, f-stop and distance.  Get an idea of distance, set the f-stop indicated for the film you have loaded and it should be fine.  There may be a conformation light on the flash to indicate enough light has reached the subject.  Just like any other new piece of equipment, testing is advised.
