Advertisement Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Hi @McLeica, Take a look here Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 & Vuescan. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Doc Henry Posted March 31, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) RW, I have 2 Coolscan and both use the Nikon software Red Green Blue calibrated in Tiff. It's a good and simple software. If photos need to be corrected I utlise LR or SEWhy make it complicated , when it can be simple. It saves from buying Vuescan Money saved to buy an enlarger for printing on paper , that's better All my photos posted here are scanned and uncorrected (advantage of film versus digital M8 or M9) http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/205842-i-like-filmopen-thread/?p=3016079 http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/205842-i-like-filmopen-thread/?p=3017498 Another word , I develop myself film color or b&w Try the Nikon software , compare and give me your opinion. When I had my Epson V700 , same comment. I do not use Silverfast which comes free with the scanner when purchasing Good photos Rg Henry Edited March 31, 2016 by Doc Henry
