richam Posted March 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) FWIW, A bit of a story on this one. Wanted an image or so of this spot, hopefully from Monet's viewpoint. At the time, didn't have a wide enough lens on my M6TTL, so took two images (upper and lower) some years ago on Scala BW film and developed as a negative in Rodinal. Couldn't combine them to my satisfaction with tools available at the time, so forgot about it for a while. Recently purchased an excellent panorama maker, Autopano Giga, and tried it again. Got a nice combination image, applied Lightroom lens corrections, and added some final re-touching in SilverEfex. Certainly not competing with Monet, but finally got what I set out to do. Advertisement Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi richam, Take a look here Rouen Cathedral. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
war Posted March 19, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2016 I appreciate the work that went into this image of Rouen. It's good to see it head-on. There are so many photos of this fine structure, but no one seems to concern themselves with staightening them up. Thanks.
