jankap Posted March 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I am thinking of buying a lens booster for my Summicron R 50mm 1. Version. The Metabones version requires a modification according to their homepage. They have sent me picture. It seems to be necessary in my case. It would interest me to know, what the function of this ledge(?) is. It must be lower than 10,5mm. Jan Welcome, dear visitor! ferdinand Posted March 14, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2016 The function of this ledge is only to protect the back lens if you put the lens with this side on a table etc. Nothing else. In German it is called Abstellschutz
