Hello everyone -

The camera that I use the most and, more importantly, I am enjoying the most are:

- S006 with 30-70-120 lenses

- Linhof Master Technika 4x5 with Rodenstock 90, Snyder Super Symmar 150 and 210 apo

- M6 with 21 super angulon, Summicron 35, 50 and 90, super Elmarit 90

- M3

Leica S and Linhof are the ones used the most by far.

The M6 and the M3 are the film camera that I end up picking up anytime I am in the mood for some film photography (besides 4x5) and anytime I need my own time with a Leica rangefinder (who doesn't need that).

A number of other cameras get little use unfortunately, IIIF red dial self timer and IIIG (summaron 35, summicron 50, thambar 90), R3 (elmarit 28, summicron 50, apo macro 100 and elmarit 135), Alpa 9d (macro switar 50 and Angeniux alfitar 90), Contarex Super second version (distagon 35, planar 50, sonnar 135).

I use a Leica IIIf and an M3 for fun, although I haven't used either one of them enough to have really gotten used to them.  I'm restoring the M3.  I have an R6.2 and one lens, which I don't use.

Otherwise I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 when portability and weight are factors.  If they aren't then I use a Sony a7ii, which, fortunately, will accept my Leica lenses. That's a fun experience, especially with the 35mm Summaron f3.5.

I also occasionally use my Calumet 4x5.

Leica X-Vario (my entry to the world of Leica, derided by some, but I love it)

Fuji X-10 (my compact Leica wannabe, nice but didn't "scratch the itch" of wanting a Leica)

Nikon D50 (6 megapixel warhorse)

iPhone 6S (occasional quick pix)

Film: Asahi Pentax Spotmatic (from my teens, first "real" camera, needs service, but I could never get rid of it).

I recently sold my DSLR and replaced it with a Sony AR7 II. This change allows me the use of M lenses on the mirrorless camera with the added advantage of a TechArt adapter making AF possible with an M lens. The Monochrom (CCD version) remains a keeper. The D2 also remains a keeper. I no longer use my film cameras.

Digital

Leica Typ 109 (for speed, lightness and instant family pics)

Fuji X-Pro1 (fast instant results on the hoof with one zoom lens)

Leica M9 (for instant pleasure)

Nikon D610 (for when it's urgent and dark and must be first time right - no second chances)

IPhone occasionally

Film

FED 5C (for fun)

Nikon 35ti (Pocket film camera)

Nikon F3 (serious speed merchant)

Leica M3, M6TTL, R9 (mostly these 3 everyday one always with XP2 and Portra 400 & 160)

I use M, R and Hasselblad Medium format. The lure of LF is strong but I made a firm decision that it really is too much. If I live long enough to retire and can still stand, see and carry, maybe.

As things stand I could easily make do without the R but I indulge myself to keep it.

I'm with double majority! Leica and else, Leica M.

Digital:

Panasonic Lumix with Leica zoom. True compact with fast zoom.

Canon 500D (t1i). For AF and high ISO (up to 6400).

M8. Walk around.

M-E. Family pictures.

Film:

FED-2. Parents camera I borrowed and still use, they are not asking to return :)

Leica M4-2. My most used film camera. My main street photography camera.

Kiev 2. If I don't want to use M4-2 and FED-2.

Smena 8m. It is my LF like camera in terms of how to operate.

Brownie 2. Locally made camera. True lomography gear.

Agfa Billy Record. Nice 6x9 to use.

Ihagee Ultrex. Oldest camera I have. I cleaned its lens, re-calibrated it, prints from it are on the walls.

It would be interesting to see how many people are still using the original Visoflex system with Telyt lenses or the bellows.

I use an M2 and M3. I also use a Visoflex II and a Hektor 125mm and a Telyt 200mm f4. And a Bellows II with the lens unit of a 135mm Tele-elmar. It is all wonderful.

Retirement present, 22 years ago, Yashica 124G, for a project, not really started

Miranda F. battered and chipped, it has a history to tell.

It sounds 'kitsch' but I love my Leicas.
