Interesting specimen - looks old, but still in daily use…….near Petaluma, CA. - and offered a perfect opportunity to use that sensational 21mm f3.4 SEM on my M-P240 body.

Another image from the same trip, this at Bodega Bay, CA.

Please forgive my piecemeal approach, but I dislike showing multiple image per post since that practice simply degrades the images excessively.

One more from yesterday in Wine Country at one of the premium vineyards along Silverado Trail……….maybe not yet decrepit and run down, with just enough patina to be interesting, but beautifully situated, in my opinion quite photogenic and very much in the spirit of this thread.

Thanks for looking,

Give them to us piecemeal, they look better that way, but by all means keep them coming. Each is better than the last.

Begun ca. 1915, the tiny settlement of Locke, on the Sacramento River was built as the first all-Chinese California community, but time and neglect have obviously taken their toll.

I thought this old barn near Sacramento had an appealing painterly look.
