lleo Posted January 29, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a viewfinder since the Voigtländer lens I received was without one. Instead to get the 21mm finder of the same brand, I was thinking to the 21/25mm metal one or the other in the title, the black plastic Leica. Now. Would it be good for my IIIf? Or, are there any cons? Thank you all.

lleo Posted January 30, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Wel Olaf, the metal one is ridiculously expensive and does the same things Edited January 30, 2016 by lleo
Dr. No Posted January 30, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 30, 2016 yes, but it is metal - no cheap plastic
luigi bertolotti Posted January 30, 2016 Share #5 Posted January 30, 2016 I agree... the old metal (black or chrome) is even more stylish...
lleo Posted January 30, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted January 30, 2016 Yep, but with that amount I can buy two or three Voigtländer 21/25 that I like even better

duckrider Posted January 30, 2016 Share #9 Posted January 30, 2016 Have a look to the actual Zeiss 21mm finder, one of the best I ever had! Or an older on from Contax G times, from time to time availiable. Both of course metal! Thomas
lleo Posted January 30, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Actually the ones I prefer are the Voigtländer 21/25 and the Zeiss 435, really fantastic. I've read the first ones are wonderful, but I guess the Zeiss is as good as well. Edited January 30, 2016 by lleo
lleo Posted January 31, 2016 Author Share #11 Posted January 31, 2016 In the meantime I've bought the Zeiss. Now starts the long and endless wait to get it. Even though I cannot wait to try my long hunted Voigtländer
lleo Posted February 5, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) And finally, today it arrived. So cool. Here it is, alone, with VIOOH and on the beauty. The viewing is quite good, there isn't any line or other for parallax compensation but one only needs to do some tries. The only problem, which is not really a problem, is that the viewer partially covers the shutter speeds dial. I'll try to upload some pics within the next week, so you can also see the Voigtländer in action. Edited February 5, 2016 by lleo
